Karnataka Gramin Bank employees to stage stir

To launch indefinite rotational stir in front of Head Office at Ballari from Sept. 29

Mysore/Mysuru: Seeking fulfilment of their various demands, Karnataka Gramin Bank Employees and Officers will launch an indefinite rotational stir in front of the Bank’s Head Office at Ballari from Sept. 29 to Oct. 15.

The demands include scientific deployment of Human Resources, regularisation of casual employees as per a CGIT (Central Government Industrial Tribunal) order, termination of contract system of employment, granting of facilities that are  in force at Lead Bank, clearance of all retirement benefits on the day of retirement of employees, introduction of a scientific transfer policy, payment of holiday wages to all casual employees, sanction of holidays  to COVID-19 infected and quarantined employees and withdrawal of the Management’s decision to close down ten branches of the Bank, among others.
