Mysuru lads Vidya Sagar and Suhas S. Gowda bagged silver medals in the men’s 100mts and 200mts sprint in the Karnataka State Senior Athletic Meet held at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium here yesterday. Vidya Sagar bagged silver medal in the men’s 100 mts event with a timing of 10.4sec on the inaugural day while another upcoming sprinter Suhas S. Gowda from Mysuru, won the silver in the 200mts event with a timing of 21.8sec on the second day of the meet.

In the men’s shot-put event, Mysuru’s Mohan Kumar bagged the bronze medal with a throw of 15.25mts.
