Karnataka State U-17 Chess Championships from Sept. 1-3

The Mysore District Chess Association (MDJA) under the aegis of the UKCA will be conducting the Karnataka State U-17 Chess Championships 2017 for the boys and girls, from Sept. 1-3 at the University Gymnasium Hall located at University Sports Pavilion.

This championship will also be the selection trials for choosing Karnataka boys and girls team which will take part in the U-17 National Championship. Players born on or after Jan.1, 2000 are eligible to participate. A total cash prize of Rs. 20,000 has been announced.

Entry fee is Rs. 700 and only Karnataka players can participate. Entry details may be sent through MDCA official website www.mysoredca.com.
