Karnataka State Women’s Chess Championships: Isha Sharma wins title

WCM and top-seed Isha Sharma (6 pts) from Dakshina Kannada District drew with fifth seed and Mysuru girl H.R. Manasa (5.5 pts) to emerge as the winner in the Karnataka State Women’s Chess Championship 2017 organised by Mysore Chess Centre at the Mall of Mysore premises here yesterday.

Top 4 players of this event will represent Karnataka in the upcoming National Women’s Challengers to be held in Mysuru. UKCA Secretary Arvind Shastry, Mysuru Chess Centre Director Nagendra Muralidhar, Mall of Mysore Senior Manager Sanjeev gave away the prizes to the winners.
