Karnataka takes second spot in Sitting Volleyball Championship

Karnataka came Runners-up at the 2nd National-level Sitting Volleyball Championship for Specially Abled Women, hosted by Paraolympic Association of Tamil Nadu at Coimbatore recently.

Karnataka lost to Rajasthan by three points in the finals of the Championship in which teams from ten States took part.

Geetha of Mysuru was the Vice-Captain, while Savitha, Pooja and Vasantha, also from the district, were part of the team, which bagged the Runners-up spot, according to a press release issued by the city’s Punaschethana Trust for Specially Abled, Bogadi Ring Road.
