Mysuru: Karnataka has been conferred the prestigious ‘Best Chapter Award’ for 2024-2025 under the leadership of AHPI Karnataka Chapter President Dr. Hema Divakar and Secretary Dr. A. Sonia Mandappa by the Association of Healthcare Providers India (AHPI). The award was presented at the Global Conclave held in Kochi, Kerala, recently.
Dr. Sonia Mandappa, Secretary of AHPI Karnataka, received the award from AHPI National Director General Dr. Giridhar Gyani and newly appointed National President Dr. M.I. Sahadullah, Managing Director of KIMS Hospital, Trivandrum.
Dr. Hema Divakar, President of AHPI Karnataka Chapter, outlines her vision to advance healthcare excellence by focusing on skill development and the implementation of protocol-based practices. The objective is to equip healthcare professionals with competency-driven training, thereby ensuring the maintenance of high standards of care at all levels.
By promoting structured, evidence-based protocols, the goal is to enhance patient safety, optimise clinical workflows, and improve overall health outcomes. Through strategic collaborations with medical institutions, skill development programmes, and continuous learning initiatives, we aim to build a resilient healthcare workforce capable of addressing emerging challenges, she said adding that AHPI Karnataka Chapter will strengthen healthcare delivery, bridge existing skill gaps and make a lasting contribution to the quality and accessibility of healthcare across Karnataka.
