Mysuru: Senior KAS Officer S.J. Somashekar, who is serving as Additional Commissioner (Administration and Development) at the Regional Commissioner’s Office, Mysuru Division, has been appointed as Election Observer for MCC Ward No. 32 bypoll on July 2.

The State Election Commission has made the appointment to ensure free and fair polls, without giving scope for electoral malpractices.
