Mysuru: Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association (KASSIA), the State Apex body for Small Scale Industries, has organised its 7th Council Meeting at Golden Land Mark Resorts in Mysuru on Jan. 27.

The meeting is jointly hosted by Mysore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mysore Small Scale Industries Association, Mysore Industries Association and Hebbal Industrial Estate Manufacturers Association.

Some of the achievements of Kassia in recent years include abolition of 99-year lease for less than 2 acres of land, abolition of trade licence, filed suit in Karnataka High Court on minimum wages etc.  

All KASSIA members in Mysuru, Mandya and Nanjangud may attend the Council meeting. Any issues to be taken up with them may be communicated to the following address either by individuals or by Associations before 11 am on Jan. 26.
