Kaveri Grameena Bank employees stage protest

Mysuru: In response to the Nationwide stir called by All India Regional Rural Bank Employees Association, members of Kaveri Grameena Bank Employees Union and Kaveri Grameena Bank Officers Association, staged a demonstration in front of the Bank premises located in Vijayanagar second stage in city yesterday urging to fulfil their various demands.

The demands included introduction of pension scheme on the lines of Commercial Banks, implementation of recruitment and promotion rules as existing in the respective Promoter Banks, appointment of representatives of Bank Unions in the Bank Board of Directors and establishment of a National Rural Bank among others.

Union leaders Deepak Ram Raje Urs, S. Madan and others led the demonstration.
