Kayaka Samajas will rally behind Modi, says Raghu Kautilya

Mysuru: The working class (Kayaka Samajas) in India will support Narendra Modi and he will bounce back to lead India as he has already proved that a Government can be honest and corruption-free, said State BJP Slum Morcha General Secretary R. Raghu Kautilya.

Canvassing for Mysuru-Kodagu BJP candidate Pratap Simha at Sathegala and surrounding areas in Periyapatna yesterday, Raghu told the voters that many schemes that were launched by former Chief Minister D. Devaraja Urs in Karnataka have been implemented at national-level by Narendra Modi.

“The working class will stand firmly behind Modi as he has launched many welfare schemes and pro-working class population. Due to these policies, the working class is leading a respectable and dignified life,” he said.

Devaraja Urs introduced ‘Bhagyajyoti’ scheme to provide electricity to the houses of poor and economically backward population. “Modi introduced the same scheme nationwide and called it ‘Soubhagyajyothi’ scheme.  Our PM ensured that under ‘Ujjwala’ LPG gas connections reach the poorest of poor freeing them from smoke-filled cooking environs,” he said.

Raghu added that several pro-people schemes will be introduced if Modi is re-elected. “The PM is determined to take India on a development path and he has already started the process. He has to get time to free India from corruption, nepotism and other ills that were practiced so far by selfish political leaders,” he said.

On Pratap Simha, he said that the MP has emerged as a people’s leader and has brought many Central schemes to grass-root levels and has proved that he is an able and an active Member of Parliament. “For India to develop and be recognised among developed nation, Mysuru has to play a crucial role and for this, Pratap Simha should be re-elected,” Raghu said.
