KEA Chairman to complete pending works

Mysuru: JD(S) leader Abdulla took charge as the new Chairman of Karnataka Exhibition Authority (KEA) at the KEA office in Dasara Exhibition Ground here on Friday.

The Coalition Government headed by H.D. Kumaraswamy had appointed Abdulla as the KEA Chairman of Thursday.

Abdulla had unsuccessfully contested as the JD(S) candidate from NR Constituency in the May 2018 Assembly polls.

Speaking to presspersons after taking charge, Abdulla said, his first priority would be to complete pending works and to take up developmental activities in the KEA.

KEA Manager Reddappa, JD(S) leader and former University of Mysore Vice-Chancellor Prof. K.S. Rangappa, Deputy Mayor Shafi Ahmed, Corporator SBM Manju and other JD(S) leaders were present during the occasion.
