KEA to link Aadhaar cards of students

Bengaluru: In a bid to end irregularities and malpractices, the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has decided to link the Aadhaar cards of all students during  admission to professional courses.

In a press statement, KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna said that the Authority has already sent a proposal in this regard to the e-Administration Department, which has forwarded it to the Union Government for approval, adding that the Aadhaar-linked registration will help students get all information regarding exams on their cell phones.
