Kerala’s murderous politics enters State too: Nirmala

May 8, 2017

Mysuru: Union Commerce Minister Nirmala Seetharaman has regretted that the murderous politics in Kerala has also entered Karnataka.

She was speaking at the valedictory of the two-day State BJP Executive Meet at Rajendra Kalamandir, here yesterday and said that the murder of RSS workers were occurring in the States ruled by the Left parties. It is regrettable that this reprehensible trend is occurring in Karnataka too, she added.

The law and order has completely collapsed in Karnataka. The State Government itself is collecting money under the guise of development works to fund the forthcoming elections, she alleged and pointed out that according to a survey conducted by a leading newspaper,  after Bihar, Karnataka has emerged as the most corrupt State in the country.

The people of the State are disillusioned with the Congress after all these developments and hence it is important for the local leaders to highlight the achievements of the Centre, she said.
