KGLT donates food kits to villagers

MysoreMysuru: The team from Karnataka Green Leaf Threshing (KGLT), a unit of ITC’s Agri Business Division, near Thandya Industrial Area, Adakanalli, Nanjangud taluk, has donated 200 food kits as a relief measure to lockdown affected residents of Immavu village under the Hulimavu Village Panchayat.

This relief activity was undertaken in coordination with Mahesh Prasad, the Gram Panchayat President, who has been the bridge between the industry and village.

Due to the lockdown, many villagers have been affected and as a token of goodwill to serve the surrounding community, KGLT team of ITC Agri Business Division, has personally handed over the following relief materials to the needy residents of the village: Ashirvaad Atta 1 kg, oil – 1/2 litre, Sugar – 1 Kg, Salt – 1 Kg, Toor Dal – 1 Kg and Rava – 1 Kg, according to a press release from Gautham Ponnana, Factory Personnel Manager.
