Khadi Stall at DC’s office premises on May 14 & 15

A make-shift Khadi Stall shall be opened at the premises of new DC’s office at Siddarthanagar on Bannur Road in city on May 14 and 15, from 11 am to 6 pm. The Government employees are hereby instructed to make use of the opportunity, as the Chief Secretary of the State Government, had issued a circular dated Jan. 29 this year, instructing the Government employees, the staff of all aided institutions, Boards and Corporations, autonomous institutes, University officers and staff, to voluntarily wear Khadi dress on the first Saturday of every month and while participating in the Government-sponsored events like Independence Day, Republic Day and others.
