Khwaja Garibun Nawaz conference held in city

Mysuru: Hazarath Khwaja Garibun Nawaz conference and Mehfil-E-Sama (qawwali), organised jointly by Atta-e-Rasool Movement, Mysuru and Khwaja Sofi Azeem Ali Sha Chisty Sofi Samithi, Mysuru and Mangaluru as part of  the 807th year annual Sandal Urus Shariff of Hazarath Khwaja Garibun Nawaz, was held at Asthan-e-Kwaja at Ghousia Nagar in city recently.

The programme was held under the supervision of Khwaja Sufi Azeem Ali Sha Chisty and Chairmanship of Hazarath Khwaja Balhar Ali Sha Chisty.    

After Fajar prayer at 6.30 am, verses from the Holy Quran was recited at 10.30 am followed by Alam Kushali at 11 am. Khwaja Garibun Nawaz Conference was held at 1 pm. This was followed by Fatha Khani at 7 pm and Mehaful Sama Khani (qawwali) programme by National artists Qawal Zaheer Chisty from Andhra Pradesh at 9.30 pm.

Hazarath Khwaja Sufi Azeem Ali Chisty presented mementoes and garlands to the Swamijis and other guests. Hazarath Moulana Syed Hayath Sha Jalal Hafeez Khadri, Moulana Maqbool Ahmed Nizami spoke on the life of Hazarath Khwaja Garibun Nawaz.

Bhanthe Kalyanasiri, Vishwa Maithri Buddha Vihara, Mysuru, Sri Basavalinga Murthy Sharanaru, Basava Dhyana Mandira, Tipu Town, Mysuru, Hazarath Moulana Mufti Mustaq Ahmed Makbulee of Khateeb Dargahi Mosque on  Sawday Road, Dr. Puttasiddaiah of Udayagiri, members of Al Kulfa Darvesh Welfare Organisation, Mysuru, Ulmas, Ahle Sunnath and Mushaeeqn, Mehboob Ali Sha Chisty, Azeemulla Sha, Mysuru Mandal, Mohd. Rouh Ulla Shattarie, Naveed Sha Khadri, Khwaja Moyeen Ali Sha and other prominent persons were present.
