Mysuru’s De Paul International Residential School with 32 points retained the KISA State Overall Tennis Championship title for the fourth consecutive year by winning the overall title in the championships which concluded at the De Paul International School premises on Saturday last.
Gopalan International School, Bengaluru, with 28 points finished runner-up. Tridarsh of De Paul International Residential School won the senior boys singles title beating Shane Rex of Sarla Birla Academy 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 in the final.
Prerith of Mitra’s school, Bengaluru won the junior boy’s title by beating Bhuvan of Bethany School, Bengaluru 6-1, 2-6, 6-1 in the final. Rajashree of Christ Public school won the senior girls singles title beating Ishika of DPIRS, Mysuru 7-6 (4), 7-5 in the final.
Shimran of Bethany HS won the junior girls singles title by beating Sagarika of Gopalan School 6-0, 6-2 in the final. Meeth Bhanri and Krithik Kailash of Sarla Birla Academy, Bengaluru won the senior boys doubles title beating Karilshwar and Prajwal of DPIRS, Mysuru 6-2, 6-4 in the final.
Swathi and Valintina of DPIRS, Mysuru won the senior girls doubles title. Trisha and Shreya of Gopalan International School, Bengaluru won the junior girls doubles title beating Ananya and Chaitanya 6-2, 6-2 in the final. Nakul and Shadev of Santhome Public school, Bengaluru won the junior boys doubles title beating Sahil Anand Kotian and Ramadhanush Avalan of Gopalan International school 7-6 (2),6-4 in the final.
