As part of Suttur Jatra Mahotsava to be held at Suttur Srikshetra in Nanjangud, a kite flying competition is organised on Jan. 18, 2026. The competition will be held in four categories — primary school, high school, college and general public. The first, second and third prizes will be given in each categories, along with a trophy and cash prize. Besides, two consolation prizes will be given in each categories.
