Kodagu DC inspects ravaged places

Madikeri:  Kodagu Deputy Commissioner P.I. Sreevidya inspected the places hit by recent floods and landslides on Hattihole-Mukkodlu Road recently.

The DC was accompanied by officers of Revenue and other Departments. They collected information on the damaged road, power supply problems and damages to public property.

The team later inspected Galibeedu, Devasthur and other places. The DC instructed the officials to expedite the repair works on roads and also to restore the power supply.

MLC Veena Achaiah, former President of Gram Panchayat Ravi Kushalappa and others were present.

The DC covered many places including a few inaccessible ones and interacted with the grieving villagers.
