Kodagu girl goes missing

Mysuru:  A 23-year-old girl, who had come to city along with her family to attend the marriage ceremony of a relative on June 19, has gone missing.

The missing girl is B.S. Divya, daughter of Shivalingegowda and a resident of Ponnampet in Kodagu.

According to the complaint lodged by Shivalingegowda with Hebbal Police, he (Shivalingegowda) along with his daughter Divya and other family members had come to Lakshmikantha Temple at Hebbal to attend the marriage ceremony of his elder brother’s son. At about 12.15 pm, Divya went out of the temple and did not return even after 2 pm and as Divya did not have a mobile phone he was unable to contact her.

Divya is 5.5 ft. tall, oval faced, wheatish complexioned, lean built, has a tattoo of two stars on her left hand, speaks Kannada and was wearing a green coloured gown at the time of going missing.

Youth missing from Bannur

A 20-year-old youth has gone missing from Bannur Police limits from June 14.

The missing youth is Shivalingegowda. He is 5.5 ft. tall, oily red complexioned, speaks Kannada and was wearing a white dhoti and white shirt at the time of going missing.

Those having any information about the missing youth may contact the Sub-Inspector, Bannur Police Station, according to a press release.
