Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Golf Club (JWGC) in association with Association of Kodagu Golfers of JWGC will be organising a two-day Kodagu Golf Open Championship-2017 in memory of Field Marshal K.M. Cariappa and Gen. K.S. Thimayya from Aug. 19 at MRC Golf Course in city.

The Tournament will be teed-off by Kodagu Golfers Association President Dr. P. A. Kushalappa at 7.45 am tomorrow. The prize distribution will be held on Aug. 20 at 8 pm.

A total of 13 trophies will be given away to the winners in different events such as Stroke Play Gross, Stable Ford Gross, Stroke Play Net – Handicap 0-12, Stroke Play Net – Handicap 13-18, Stable Ford Net – Handicap 18 and Below, Stable Ford Net (Seniors) Handicap 24 and Below, Stable Ford Net Handicap 19 to 24, Stable Ford Net Handicap 24 and below and Stable Ford Net.

Jayakumar of Travel Parkz), Longest Drive (Jeeth Uthaiah), Straightest Drive  (K.M. Achaiah).
