Kodava Family Hockey Tournament Founder Pandanda Kuttappa passes away

Bengaluru: Pandanda Kuttappa (Kuttani), Founder of the Kodava Family Hockey Tournament, passed away at his residence in Bengaluru this morning. He was 85.

He leaves behind his wife, two daughters, one son and a host of relatives and friends.

A retired Manager at State Bank of India (SBI), Kuttappa was instrumental in starting the Kodava Family Hockey Tournament and had organised the first tournament way back in 1997 on the lines of Olympic Games which is being continued till now. His name has been entered in the Limca Book of Records for being instrumental in starting the Kodava Family Hockey Tournament.

Cremation was held at Rajajinagar Crematorium in Bengaluru this evening, according to family sources.
