Kottiyanda Kamavva Chinnappa (Nagachettira), hailing from Maggula village in Kodagu, passed away at her son’s residence in Kuvempunagar here last night. She was 85.

She leaves behind her son journalist Jeevan Chinnappa, three daughters, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill here this afternoon.
