Kousalya Devi passes away

Mysuru: Kousalya Devi (94), wife of late K. Rangaraja Urs and a native of Kogiluru near Ravanduru in K.R. Nagar taluk, passed away yesterday evening, at a private hospital in city. She leaves behind her son R. Raja Chandra, daughters Nalini Urs and Prof. Shalini Urs and a host of relatives and friends.

Her body was kept at her daughter’s residence on Theobald Road in Nazarbad this morning and later taken to her native place Kogiluru, where the last rites were performed.

Raja Chandra is the husband of Indrakshi Devi, daughter of late Maharaja Sri Jayachamaraja Wadiyar and brother-in-law of late Srikanta Datta Narasimharaja Wadiyar.
