Mysuru: In a tragic accident, K. Bhagya, a Station Assistant Grade 2 employee of Hootagalli Division of Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL), was killed near the Koorgalli bus stop this morning.

The accident occurred while Bhagya was riding her two-wheeler. The accident site, where road repair work was underway, proved hazardous.

Eyewitness accounts suggest that she lost control of her scooter, fell and was fatally run over by a water tanker. She died on the spot. Further details are awaited.
