Mysuru: Kreeda Kaushalya, an exhibition-cum-sale of traditional games organised by city’s Ramsons Kala Pratishtana, began at its premises in Nazarbad this morning. The exhibition was inaugurated by Indrakshi Devi and R. Raja Chandra by lighting the lamp this morning.
Speaking on the occasion, Raja Chandra said that the expo took him to a nostalgic journey to his childhood during which he played most of the traditional games with his friends. He also added that the present generation was not exposed to such games as electronic gadgets and games had overtaken them.
Meanwhile, Indrakshi Devi, who wished the best for the exhibition, remembered her playing the traditional games with tamarind seeds as child and added that the same games had come in different formats and with attractive pawns.
The 18-day exhibition-cum-sale will be open till May 14. People can visit Ramsons from 10 am to 7 pm every day.
