Mandya: A three-day Krishi Mela-2025 will be held at the University of Agriculture Sciences campus, VC Farm, in Mandya from Dec. 5 to 7, under the joint aegis of the University of Agriculture Sciences, Mandya, Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, Watershed Development, Sericulture, Forest, Fisheries, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Women & Child Development Departments and the National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development (NABARD).

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will inaugurate the Krishi Mela on Dec. 5 at 10.30 am.

Union Minister for Steel and Heavy Industries H.D. Kumaraswamy, Dy.CM D.K. Shivakumar will be present. Melukote MLA Darshan Puttannaiah will preside over the inaugural.

Agriculture and Mandya District in-Charge Minister N. Cheluvarayaswamy, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Priyank Kharge and Sericulture Minister K. Venkatesh will be the guests of honour.

Prize distribution ceremony will be held on Dec. 6 at 10 am in the presence of Adichunchanagiri Mutt Seer Dr. Sri Nirmalanandanatha Swamiji.

Union Minister H.D Kumaraswamy will be the chief guest. Union Minister of State Shobha Karandlaje and State Revenue Minister Krishna Bhyregowda, Agriculture Minister N. Cheluvarayaswamy will be present.

University of Agriculture Sciences Special Officer Dr. K.M. Harinikumar will preside.

Valedictory ceremony will be held on Dec. 7 at 2 pm. Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot will be the guest of honour. Rajya Sabha MP Jaggesh will be present. Agriculture Minister N. Cheluvarayaswamy will preside. Mysuru-Kodagu MP Yaduveer Wadiyar and MLAs will be the chief guests on the occasion.
