Krishna Jayanti Music Programmes, felicitation and prize distribution

Mysuru: Ganabharathi, Mysuru, has organised music programmes on the occasion of Krishna Jayanti from Aug. 30 to Sept. 1 at Veene Seshanna Bhavana in Kuvempunagar.  Details are as follows:

August 30 – 6.30 pm: Flute Concert by Vid. S.G. Muraidhar, accompanied by Vid. Veena Suresh on violin, Vid. H.L. Shivashankar Swamy on mridanga and Vid. Raghunandan Rao on ghata.

August 31 – 6.30 pm: Bharatanatyam by Vidu. Sowndarya and team from Bengaluru.

September 1 – 5.30 pm: Felicitations to renowned artistes, namely Vidu. Neeraja Achuytarao (Karnatak Vocal), Pandit Dr. M.S. Bhaskar (Hindustani Vocal), Vid. Dr. T.S. Satyavathi (Karnatak Vocal), Vid. Rangaswamy (Nadaswara) and Vid. Bellary Raghavendra (Karnatak Vocal). The program will be presided by Ganabharathi Vice-President H.R. Subdareshan. Art Patron Revati Kamath will be the chief guest. Hon. Chief Patron Dr. C.G. Narasimhan will be present on the occasion. Felicitations will be followed by Vocal Concert by Vid. Mahadevan, accompanied by Vid. B.K. Raghu on violin, Vid. K.U. Jayachadra Rao on mridanga and Vid. Shamith Gowda on ghata.

On the occasion, prizes will be distributed to winners of Sri Krishna Jayanti Competition-2024 organised by Ganabharathi on Aug. 25. Results are as follows:
