Mysore/Mysuru: KRISHNE Dance School will present the Bharatanatyam Arangetram (Rangapravesha) of N.V. Manasvi, disciple of Vidu. Dimple, at Kalandhika Auditorium, Vasundhara Bhavan, Saraswathipuram on Feb. 8 at 6 pm.
Prof. Nagesh V. Bettakote, Vice-Chancellor of Karnataka State Dr. Gangubai Hangal Music and Performing Arts University, Mysuru, will be the chief guest.
Karnataka Kalashree Dr. Sheela Sridhar, Retired Professor, Department of Dance, University of Mysore and Sangeetha Kalaratna Dr. Sukanya Prabhakar, Director, Surabhi Gaana Kalamandira Charitable Trust, Mysuru will be present.
Daughter of N.A. Brunda and N.D. Avanish, Manasvi will be accompanied by Vidu. Dimple on Nattuvangam, Karnataka Kalashree Vid. Balasubramanya Sharma on vocal, Vid. P. Janardhana Rao on mridanga, Vid. Jayaram Kikkeri on flute and Vid. Prashanth Rudrapatna on veena.

Profile of Guru
Guru Vidu. Dimple is a distinguished Bharatanatyam artiste, visionary teacher, choreographer and the Artistic Director of KRISHNE Dance School. A devoted disciple of Guru Nandini Eswar, she completed her Nartana Rangapravesham in 2003 and is a recipient of the Junior Scholarship from the Karnataka Sangeetha Nritya Academy.
With formal training in multiple Indian classical and folk styles, she is a First Rank holder in M.A. Bharatanatyam from the University of Mysore and a B-Grade artiste of Doordarshan.
Manasvi began her Bharatanatyam journey at the age of ten and has been a dedicated disciple of Vidushi Dimple at KRISHNE Dance School since 2008. Trained in the graceful Thanjavur style, she views dance as a sacred pursuit where rhythm becomes prayer and movement an offering to the divine.
Alongside her artistic growth, she is a software professional at Infosys, exemplifying a harmonious balance between intellect and creativity.
