KRS re-opens

The Krishnaraja Sagar (KRS) Dam, which was closed following sighting of a leopard on Oct. 22, has been opened for tourists from 2 pm yesterday. Forest Department staff have combed the area to trace the elusive leopard and a cage has also been placed to trap it. The leopard was spotted at Brindavan Gardens forcing the authorities of Cauvery Neeravari Nigama Limited (CNNL) to order the closure of the Dam to the tourists, considering their safety.
