Gujarat CA secured the vital first innings points against Madhya Pradesh CA when their four-day Group ‘D’ tie ended in a draw, with Madhya Pradesh CA scoring 201 for four in their second essay, in the KSCA Dr. (Capt) K.Thimmappiah memorial cricket tournament on Thursday.

Madhya Pradesh’s middle-order batsman Yash Dubey (107 n.o, 18×4, 1×6) and Rameez Khan (46, 7×4) batted well and added 111-runs for the fourth wicket, which helped their team’s cause. Gujarat CA with 10 points from their three games qualified for the semi-finals from Group ‘D’.

Madhya Pradesh CA 274 in 90.4 overs & 201 for four in 62.4 overs (Yash Dubey 107 n.o, Rameez Khan 46) drew with Gujarat CA 487 for nine decl. in 143.3 overs.
