Mysuru Zone, helped by some good batting by openers L.R. Chethan (61 n.o.) and M. Shreyas (46), registered a facile nine-wicket win over Raichur Zone in the KSCA Inter-mofussil Cricket Tournament for U-19, played at the Administrative Management College Grounds in Bengaluru yesterday.

Batting first, Raichur Zone were bowled out for 112 in 29.3 overs. Mayur Patil (24) top scored. Saathvik Shamanur (three for 31) and left-arm spinner Abhinoam G. Jacob (two for 10) were the chief wicket-takers for Mysuru Zone.

In reply, Mysuru Zone scored 114 for one in 22.2 overs and registered a nine wicket win. Openers M. Shreyas (46, 75b, 5×4) and L.R. Chethan (61 n.o., 57b, 11×4) batted well.
