KSCA Mysore Zonal League-2017: Kishan shines for NCC in drawn tie

A good all-round performance by Kishan S. Bedare (81 & three for 36), helped National Cricket Club (NCC) to gain the vital first innings lead and points in their drawn two-day KSCA Mysuru Zonal 1st Division League tie against RBNCC ‘A’ played at the PET Grounds, Mandya, recently.

Scores: 1st Division — National Cricket Club 294 for 7 in 90 overs (Kishan S. Bedare 81, Dhanush Vishu 80 n.o., Gaurav 64, A.M. Kiran 37, G.S. Yodhan Hrudhay two for 34, M.B. Darshan two for 32) drew with RBNCC ‘A’ 200 in 61.3 overs (Syed Zain 32, C. Munish 32, M.B. Darshan 29, Kishan S. Bedare three for 36, Thushar Harikrishna two for 36, Madhu Prasad two for 48); National CC – 3 points, RBNCC ‘A’ – 1 point.

2nd Division — Karavali Cricketers 242 in 48.1 overs (Rahul V. Kashyap 65, S.J. Shashank 42, M.U. Karthik 34, S.P. Arjun 27, Dilip Kumar five for 20, Samarth Srinivas two for 45) bt Professional CC 152 in 31.4 overs (N. Dharmendra 32,

Nishanth Yadav 29, M.N. Sachin 29, Jaffar Ali four for 43, S.J. Shashank three for 27, Suhas Gowda two for 34).

3rd Division — Vijaya CC, Hunsur 226 for 9 in 39 overs (Naveen 95, Ganesh 39, Manju 29, Anuj Trivedi 2 for 35, Shiva Prakash 2 for 21) lost to Young Cricketers 229 for 5 in 38 overs (Chenne Gowda 81, Karthik Manjunath 53, Prashanth 41).

Mysore Underwriters SC 155 in 39 overs (C. Ravi 72, R. Chandan three for 19, G.L. Raghunath two for 32, Sujith Kumar two for 20, Subramanya two for 29) lost to FACC 156 for eight in 40.1 overs (Nijaguna 35, G.L. Raghunath 20, G.D. Sudai Jain two for 16, Satisha two for 37).

Lucky Boys CC (N’gud) 248 in 45 overs (Shivraj 85, Prathap 36, Roshan 22, Imran Khan three for 60, Deepak Gowda three for 30, Karthik two for 53) bt Warriors CC 224 in 45.4 overs (Varun Shetty 62, Karthik 37, Waseem Baig 25, Imran Khan 20, B.N. Kiran two for 39, D.S. Praveen Kumar two for 41, Sandeep two for 52).

4th Division — New National CC166 for nine in 50 overs (Nikhil Mohan 37, Abhiram 27, D. Purushotham four for 32, Karan two for 19, N. Ravikumar two for 33) lost to Agraharam CC 169 for three in 27 overs (M.L. Karthik 65 n.o., Pratik Gulecha 57 n.o., N. Ravikumar 32, G.R. Bhuvan two for 40).

Chamraja CC 84 in 22.5 overs (Ravindra 25, Sumanth Uthappa five for 24) lost to Sunny Side CC 87 for two in 12.2 overs (A.V. Sandeep 61 n.o.).
