KSCA Mysore Zone Inter-Collegiate Cricket: Kishan Bedare shines for St. Joseph’s FGC

A unbeaten knock of 166 (20x4s, 5x6s) by opener Kishan S. Bedare enabled St. Joseph’s FGC to register a big 169-run win over Sarada Vilas College, Mysuru and enter the second round in the KSCA Mysuru Zone Inter-Collegiate Cricket Tournament 2016-17 played at Gangothri Grounds here yesterday.

Scores: St. Joseph’s FGC: 288 for six in 29 overs (Kishan S. Bedare 166 n.o., Ranjith Krishna 57) bt Sarada Vilas College: 119 for nine in 29 overs (B. Mohith four for 23).

PES FGC, Mandya: 322 for six in 28 overs (Mustafa 108, A.N. Darshan 40, N. Zahed 41 n.o., B.P. Manoj 30, S.B. Sagar 26 n.o.) bt Seshadripuram College: 73 in 16.5 overs (Mustafa three for 19, B.N.Kiran Kumar three for 11).

MES College: 152 in 27 overs (Md. Shiraz 32, S.S. Sumanth three for 28, Pramodanna three for 38) lost to Kautilya FGC: 154 for seven in 20 overs (S.S. Sumanth 42, Ravi 39, N.V. Varun 34, Rizwanullah three for 36, Basheer Ahmed three for four).
