KSCA Mysuru Zone U-16 Tourney for Clubs: Chakshu Gowda slams century

Chakshu R. Gowda’s unbeaten 151 (21×4) was the highlight of National CC’s exciting one-run win over Sunny Side CC in the KSCA Mysuru Zone U-16 League match for Clubs played at the Gangothri Grounds here recently.

In another game, an  inspiring knock of 114 (14×4) by left-hander opener L. Manvanth Kumar helped Jayanagar SC to register a facile 65 run win over FUCC.

National CC: 287 for 8 in 50 overs (Chakshu R. Gowda 151 n.o., Tarun Sagar 52, P. Nitin 2 for 46) bt Sunny Side CC: 286 for 9 in 50 overs (Md. Kaif Basha 116, P. Nithin 62, Krithik R. Kashyap 48).

Rising Star CC: 246 for 8 in 50 overs (Bhuvan 69, Samarth 25, Sujan 43, L. Nakul 2 for 29, Atharv Pai 2 for 58) bt Star CC: 173 in 44.2 overs (Nakul 52, Vinil 3 for 35, Yashwanth 2 for 42, Sujan 2 for 19).

Jo Jo CC: 55 in 17.4 overs (Daivik Sanath 5 for 9, V. Bhuvan Kumar 3 for 17, Satvik Chethan 2 for 11) lost to RBNCC: 58 for  in 13.5 overs.

New National CC: 259 for 6 in 50 overs (M.K. Yashwanth 82, Napish D’souza 39,  B. Bhuvan 62, S. Chethan 2 for 38) bt MUCSC: 79 in 29.2 overs (Venugopal 24, Chiranth 3 for 22, D.N. Dhanush 3 for 20, B. Bhuvan 2 for 15).
