Good batting by opener N. Bharath (78 n.o., 12×4, 3×6) helped JoJo CC to register a facile nine-wicket win over Karavali Cricketers and enter the quarter-finals in the KSCA Mysuru Zone’s Sri Gopalaswami Memorial Cricket Tournament played at the JSS-SJCE Grounds here yesterday.

Karavali Cricketers 138 in 30.4 overs (Rahul V. Kashyap 58, B.M. Poovaiah 20, G. Shantaraj three for 23, Sankarshan Joshi two for 29) lost to JoJo CC 139 for one in 16.4 overs (N. Bharath 78 n.o, R. Prateeksh 26, M. Venkatesh 25 n.o.).

Venus CC 205 in 40.1 overs (Madhu 80, N. Umesh 44, Ashok Kumar two for 34) lost to Mysore CC 208 for five in 33.4 overs (M. Naveen 73 n.o, D. Prabharan 35, K. Harish 29 n.o., S.Suprith 21).
