With the city’s KSOU (Karnataka State Open University) celebrating its 25th year of formation, the University Vice-Chancellor Prof. S. Vidyashankar released the Silver Jubilee Logo at Muktagangothri here recently. Speaking on the occasion, he said that KSOU will be holding year-long programmes as part of Silver Jubilee celebrations.

Pointing out that a Committee comprising the University alumni members, experts and technocrats from various fields will be formed, he said that all Departments have been directed to organise State and National-level seminars and other academic programmes. Silver Jubilee Celebration Special Officer Dr. R. Santosh Nayak explained the modalities of the celebrations. Registrar Pof. R. Rajanna, Finance Officer Dr. Khader Pasha, Deans Dr. Ashok Kamble, Dr. Shanmukha and other officials were present.
