Kudos to new version of ‘SOM’ website

February 23, 2017

Sir,

I was very much impressed with the new layout of SOM web version. It is looking smart and also helps to get info on today’s and tomorrow’s engagements, events, cinema, etc., which were missing in the older version.

On some days, the paper boy may not deliver the daily well before 4 pm and in such a case a reader would not be able to plan the evening engagement even if the web version was consulted in the older version. It is now a more complete eveninger.

Also the photos are more sharp and with the full complement of Archives, one can quickly refer to back issues when the same is referred to in any letter to the editor or an article. SOM is no doubt a shining STAR to stay for a long long time.

I have two simple questions though: Would you change the spelling to MYSURU and if so, when? If not, why?
