Kudos to Mysuru Police Force for hassle-free drive on illuminated streets

October 3, 2019

Sir,

Tourists from all over the world congregate to witness and be a part of Dasara every year.

During this festive season,  every street is lit up with bright lights to welcome prosperity, peace and happiness to one and all and is filled with movement of traffic and people of all kinds.

It’s a preconceived notion in every citizen’s mind that the roads would be blocked with traffic and there would be a lot of indisciplined movement of people all round thus causing congestion at all stages. And to  prevent being the victim of such disorders, many stay indoors.

Last evening, I travelled all around Mysuru with my family in our car  and I was really astonished to see regularised traffic movement — vehicles moving along in every busy street of Mysuru in utmost discipline and organised manner, vehicles overtaking the other being fully controlled, thus making the city ride in such never before illuminated streets,  making a spectacular evening for all.

We could finish one complete round of Mysuru city, driving through every illuminated street in just half an hour, which could never be possible during earlier times.

The utmost dedicated services, untiring efforts and sincere involvement of every Traffic Police official and City Police  could be seen clearly and there could be no better example than this for dedication.

Making announcements at all prominent points on the safety measures, security and guiding vehicular movements in a proper manner on every road have been the focus of every Police Officer. Ensuring that public events taking place get closed for the day promptly by 10 pm was one more added compliment.

I, on behalf of the citizens of Mysuru, salute them and with all warmth, appreciate, commend and congratulate the whole of the Police Force.

Very proud to be under their shelter and secured cover in such times. Every person / visitor / guest can be well assured of their enjoyments and fun-filled moments.
