Kudos to Yuva Brigade

December 26, 2022

Sir,

It is heartening to learn about the various pro-people activities of Yuva Brigade, Nanjangud — be it the tree-planting at public places, cleaning river beds, catching/rescuing snakes from residential areas and dropping them safely at nearby forests etc.

The latest being clearing the civic waste heaps recklessly dumped by devotees at the bathing ghats near Srikanteshwara Temple a week before, followed by Kapila Arathi, a la Ganga Arathi of Varanasi.

Healthy, young lads of the group, hardly below 30, did a commendable job sans any expectation in return, which I doubt even our administrative bodies would not have done so well.  My hearty wishes to the group.  Let their clan multiply.
