Mysore/Mysuru: MP Pratap Simha performed guddali puja for Rs. 1.5 crore Kumbarakoppal crematorium development works coming under MCC Ward 4 yesterday.
Speaking on the occasion, Pratap Simha said it is not easy for a Corporator to get a huge grant of Rs.1.5 crore for development works at one spot.
He lauded area Corporator Pailwan Sreenivas for making untiring efforts to get the funds sanctioned for the purpose.
Referring to the ongoing LPG gas pipeline project works in the city, Simha said that it has been planned to provide house- to-house gas connection and the residents of Mysuru will be charged based on consumption, which will be recorded by a meter.
Pointing out that the 28-km- long LPG gas pipeline works is being carried out along the Ring Road, the MP said it has been planned to provide piped LPG gas by May this year.
He sought complete co-operation of the MCC for implementation of this ambitious project.
