Mysuru: The 22nd Kumbhabhisheka programmes will be held at Sri Yoganarasimhaswamy Temple in Vijayanagar here from May 25 to 27.

Abhisheka and Laksharchane to the deity will be performed at 8 am on May 25. Sahasra Kshirabhisheka will be done on May 26 at 8 am. Mahasudarshana Yoga will be performed from 8 am to 12 noon on May 27 under the guidance of Prof. Bhashyam Swamiji with ‘Poornahuti’ to be offered to the Yaga by Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy. Lunch will be served to devotees later.

Cultural programmes will be held daily at 6 pm. Kadri Gopalanath will present a saxophone concert on May 25, devotional songs by Shashidar Kote on May 26 and a music programme by Dr. Vidyabhushan on May 27.

Members of women’s organisation will render bhajans everyday from 10 am to 12 noon, according to Temple Administrative Officer S. Srinivasan.
