Mysuru:  All the 16 persons arrested in the rioting incident that took place on Apr. 20 in Udayagiri Police limits have been shifted to Kalaburagi Central Jail.

Udayagiri Police, who had booked four rioting cases, had arrested 11 people on Apr. 21, four persons on Apr. 22 and one more on Apr. 23.

Those arrested are Mohammed Ismail, Mohammed Maz, Suhail Shariff, Wasim Pasha, Syed Hafizulla, Khuram Pasha and Khaleem Pasha, all residents of Ghousianagar, Syed Zakir, Akbar Pasha and Mohammed Shabaz of Kalyangiri, Syed Thousif, Ayaz Pasha and Imran Pasha of Beedi Colony, Mohammed Misbaulla and Ahmed Pasha of Azeez Sait Nagar and Mubarak of Lashkar Mohalla.

All the accused were produced before a Court, which remanded them to judicial custody, following which all the accused were shifted to Kalaburagi Jail.

Police are on a look out for the remaining accused, according to a press release.
