Labour Adalat begins for resolution of labour disputes

In an effort to clear all pending labour disputes, the Labour Department has commence Labour Adalat which will go on till Sept.16. Cases pertaining to Labour Disputes Act, minimum wages, beedi and cigar workers, Motor Transport Workers Act etc., will be taken up at the Lok Adalat.

Aggrieved workers and labourers can submit their petitions at the Office of the Labour Inspector in all taluks, Office of the Senior Labour Inspector, Office of the District Labour Welfare Officer and Office of the Assistant Labour Commissioner, from 11 am to 1 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm on all working days and get their grievances addressed, according to a press release.
