Labourer succumbs to injuries at hospital

Mysuru:  A construction labourer, who was severely injured when a loose soil collapsed while he was digging trench for the foundation of compound and admitted to a private hospital, passed away yesterday.

The deceased is Boregowda (48), a resident of Maratikyathanahalli. On Monday, he was digging a trench for the foundation of a compound wall for an old factory belonging to one Rajashekar at Vijayanagar, when loose soil collapsed resulting in serious injuries to him.

Though he was rushed to a private hospital here, Boregowda breathed his last yesterday, according to the Police, who have registered a case in this regard.
