Lady Police Commissioner assumes charge

Seema Latkar, who was earlier serving as the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Mysuru district, took charge as the City Police Commissioner this afternoon, thus becoming the first woman Police Commissioner of Mysuru city.

She replaces Ramesh Banoth, who has been transferred as Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP-Eastern Range), Davangere.
