Mysuru: G. Lakshmi N. Rao (87), wife of late science writer (Guddehithlu) G.T. Narayana Rao (GTN) and a resident of ‘Athri,’ #8, Kamakshi Hospital Road, Saraswathipuram, passed away early this morning.

Incidentally, today happens to be her birthday as well.

Daughter of (Adamane Pallathadka) A.P. Subbayya and Parvathi, she leaves behind sons G.N. Ashokavardhana, Anandavardhana and Ananthavardhana, daughters-in-law Devaki, Jayashree, Rukminimala, grandchildren Abhayasimha (wife Rashmi), Anarghya (husband J.J. Jackson) Aishwarya, Akshari (husband E. Mahesha) and a host of relatives and friends.

Body donation

Her body will be donated to JSS Medical College, Mysuru, as per her wish, later today.

The body of GTN, who passed away on June 29, 2008, was also donated to the College.
