Lakshminarasimha Jayaram Haravu

Lakshminarasimha Jayaram Haravu (85), a resident of V.V. Puram, passed away on Mar. 2 in city. He leaves behind his wife, a son, grandsons and a host of relatives and friends.

A long-time resident of Hyderabad, Lakshminarasimha started his career as a school teacher in Mumbai and had developed country’s first open-source library management system.

He had started Haravu Charitable Trust to support destitute children and the elderly.

Last rites were performed at Muktidhama in Vijayanagar 4th Stage here on Mar. 3, according to family sources.
