July 29, 2018

Mysuru:  Burglars, who gained entry into a locked house on Contour Road in Gokulam 3rd Stage by breaking open the front door of the house, have decamped with a laptop and gold ornaments   from the house.

The burglary took place at the house of one Philip Thomas, who on July 21, had locked his house and had gone to Kodagu with his family.

On Thursday, the following week, when Chandru, the caretaker of the house came, he saw the front door broken and immediately informed Philip over the phone, who rushed back to city.

On entering the house, Philip found a laptop and gold jewellery missing and immediately lodged a complaint at V.V. Puram  Police Station.

V.V. Puram Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
