The last date to submit entries for ‘Best Book’ prize (2020-21) given by Karnataka Sangeeta Nritya Academy for authors of books on music and dance has been extended to Nov. 15. Authors of books on Karnatak, Hindustani, Sugama Sangeetha, Nritya-Katha-Keertana and Gamaka, whose works are first published between January and December 2019, can now send entries before Nov. 15. The works should not be text books or edited ones and must be self-written. Interested may send their entries along with four copies of their works to the Registrar, Karnataka Sangeeta Nritya Academy, Kannada Bhavan, 2nd Floor, J.C. Road, Bengaluru – 560002. Prescribed application forms can be obtained from the Office of the Assistant Director, Kannada and Culture Department of their respective districts or can be downloaded from the Academy’s website: https://karnatakasangeetanrityaacademy.com, according to the Academy Registrar Banashankari V. Angadi.
